Kamppi is a successful sample of modern polyfunctional public space designed to serve the present and future needs of the people of Helsinki as well as greater Finland in a global way. Kamppi is a four year construction project; it was the largest singular construction area in the history of Finland involving the extensive and difficult redevelopment of the Kamppi district in downtown Helsinki.
The Finish partner of the PSS group, the company 'Uudenmaan Pintasuojaus Ky', protected the natural stone floors around the main entrance to Kamppi with Faceal Oleo HD against oil-, fat and water-based contaminations and chewing-gum. Successively the more floor areas and stairs will be impregnated with Faceal Oleo HD which offers a long lasting protection and facilitates the cleaning of the trated area.
Along with the new Opera House in Oslo and the Amager Strand Parc near Copenhagen, Kamppi is yet another europawide famous project protected with Faceal Oleo HD. This 3 objects combine nearly 100'000 m2 of natural stone and concrete flooring and façades treated by the PSS specialists.
